The Chapter of the Year award is given to honor the most outstanding AWS student organization in each of the seven regions (West, Southwest, Midwest, South, Mid-Atlantic, New England, and International). The award recognizes a chapter’s exceptional dedication, leadership, and productivity in promoting the mission of AWS. The National Committee takes into account the quantity and quality of the activities and programs, as well as the overall impact of the chapter on campus and medical communities.
